Guitar reloaded 

From an Internet star to a SONY MUSIC artist – Marcin’s career had nothing less than a tremendous start. Aged fifteen, after only having studied the guitar for five years, he won the 9th edition of „Must Be The Music Poland“ (2015)  - his country's biggest talent show. His spectacular victories at the international Joaquin Rodrigo Competition (2018) and the Italian TV talent show „Tú Sí Que Vales“ (2018), as well as his sensational participation at the „America's Got Talent“ (2019) made him world famous.

Marcin Patrzalek, who simply goes by Marcin, is one of the most extraordinary guitar virtuosos of our time. In a breath-taking mix of percussive fingerstyle and flamenco technique, he literally reinvents the guitar into an instrument of unlimited possibilities of sound. Nothing seems to be impossible for Marcin. He transports classical guitar pieces into a whole new dimension, updates piano sonatas or symphonies by Ludwig van Beethoven and presents himself performing laid back dance tracks which he produces on his own.

In 2018 he became an endorser of the famous guitar manufacturer Ibanez. Companies such as Fishman Pickups, Elixir Strings and Klotz Cables were to follow, relying on his exceptional talent and enormous social media fanbase. Marcin has toured North, and Central America, South Africa, Germany, France, Poland and other European countries. In 2020, Marcin signed an exclusive contract with Sony Masterworks and released two singles: "Moonlight Sonata" - a flamenco and TR808-inspired reinterpretation of Beethoven's piano sonata, and "Snow Monkey" - a dance track with a spicy flavor of reggaetón and latin music, inspired by J. Balvin, Tainy and Rosalia. The internationally renowned luxury label Gucci used Marcin's "Moonlight Sonata" for one of its glossy campaigns. With his young, curious and creative mind, Marcin is constantly expanding his repertoire and looking for inspiration in collaboration with fellow musicians from a wide range of different genres.

Marcin started playing the guitar at the age of ten, during a holiday workshop with the classical guitarist Jerzy Pikor. He then took lessons in flamenco guitar with virtuoso Carlos Piñana, and auto-didactically expanded his skills in experimental techniques. Marcin integrated his great love for percussion into his unique playing technique.
